Mom on a mission to Stop Underrides National Town Hall

A mom on a mission, Marianne Karth, mother of AnnaLeah and Mary who were killed in an underride crash in 2013, needs your help.

Hundreds of people die every year when pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and occupants of passenger vehicles go under trucks. We want Congress to pass legislation which will create underride safety regulations to make truck crashes more survivable.

It can happen to anyone -- even if their car has a 5-Star Safety Rating -- like it has happened to tens of thousands of Americans.

Underride crashes with large trucks like the ones that killed Sylvia Bingham, AnnaLeah and Mary Karth could be prevented.

The STOP Underrides 2.0 Act of 2026 has been introduced in Congress. As lawmakers prepare either a new Surface Transportation Reauthorization bill or an extension of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law by September 30, we are pushing to ensure that key provisions of STOP Underrides are included.

To build nationwide momentum, Marianne is  organizing a STOP Underrides National Zoom Town Hall on April 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET.  This Town Hall will allow citizens from across the country to speak directly to their Members of Congress.
